Honorary Community Government Members
Dear Antioch Alumni,
The news of the BOT’s decision
to suspend operations has caused ripple effects all over the community.
Due to the BOT’s decision, enrollment has dropped, thus decreasing
our budget. Because we, the CG Officers, are charged with managing the
community, the best way we can do this is to preserve, nurture and maintain
the community we have. CG is able to perform all of its duties mostly
through student fees and also through other community members’ fees.
This year could be one of the greatest years that Antioch has seen in
decades. We in CG are determined to support the College and its community
members and do our part to save the College. It is with the deepest
of love and dedication that those faculty and staff who are left continue
to pour their hearts and souls into their jobs at Antioch College and
those entering and returning students come to Antioch College to complete
the year here. We in CG, will strive to make Antioch College continue
to be a beacon for community activism and a unique and innovative institution
of higher education. To become an Alumni Honorary Community Government
member, a suggested donation of $30.00 is encouraged, but we welcome
any donation for the operating costs of CG. Help us make this year
one of our best.
